Bodhgaya serial blast case: Five accused convicted, May 31 announcement of conviction

Patna’s NIA Court on Friday convicted all the accused in the Mahabodhi Temple serial blasts case in Bodh Gaya, Bihar.

According to information received from news agency ANI, the court has convicted all the five accused. Along with this, the next hearing of this case will now be on 31st May. In this blast, a Tibetan Buddhist monk and pilgrims of Myanmar were injured.

Earlier, on 11th May, 2018, the Special Judge had reserved his decision after the arguments on behalf of both sides were completed, whose decision came to light today. NIA team was presenting 90 witnesses on behalf of the investigation team.

It is notable that two people were injured in serial blasts in Bodh Gaya on July 7, 2013. Five people were accused in this case.
