Lalu convicts in fourth case of fodder scam

Ranchi’s CBI court has convicted former Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in the fourth case of the fodder scam.

Another former Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra has been released by the court. Simultaneously, Vimalkant Das Jha, MC Golds, Adip Chand and Dhruv Bhagat have also been acquitted.

Other accused have been convicted in Arun Singh, Vimalkant, OP Diwakar, Pankaj Mohan, Anand Kumar Singh, Nand Kishore, Mahendra Singh altar and Ajit Kumar Verma guilty. There will be debate on Lalu’s conviction on March 21, 22 and 23. A total of 19 people have been convicted and 12 people have been acquitted.

All were accused of illegal withdrawal from Dumka Treasury. There are five cases on Lalu, three of them have been sentenced. In the fourth case, Ranchi’s CBI court ruled on Monday.

Since being convicted in the first three cases, Lalu Yadav is lodged in Birsa Munda jail of Ranchi. In fact, this scandal is to misappropriate money from the treasury of Bihar Government. In many years millions of officers and contractors of the Department of Animal Husbandry took out political mile-Bhagat.
