Delhi-Pune Indigo Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Indore

INDORE: An Indigo flight number 6E 769 flying from New Delhi to Pune, had to make an emergency landing at Indore Airport on Sunday, after a 52-year-old passenger, suddenly suffered from cardiac arrest. His health began to worsen due to which emergency landing was decided. The aircraft landed in an emergency at about 9.30 am (local time) on Sunday at the airport.

The flight 6E 769 landed under emergency conditions around 9.30 am after the passenger suffered cardiac arrest mid-air“, Director of the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, Indore, Aryama Sanyal said.

He told that at the request of the airline, the airport administration provided ambulance and doctor and Suresh Rana was immediately admitted to a private hospital. A hospital doctor told that Rana, a resident of New Delhi, has been admitted to ICU. After treatment, his condition is stable at the moment. The doctor said that after the initial medical tests, Rana seems to have been suffering from cardiac disorders from earlier past. His condition is being monitored equally.

In a similar kind of incident recently, on january 24, 2018, a passenger had a heart attack on Jet Airways flight flying from Delhi to Mumbai, who died due to lack of treatment at the right moment.
