Rajasthan: Bus And Dumper Collided In Ajmer, Claims 6 And Injures 21

JAIPUR: A painful accident occurred on Sunday morning in Tabiji village of ​​Rajasthan’s Ajmer district, a bus from Ajmer to Pali was hit by a dumper truck with construction materials.

According to ANI, 6 people were killed and 21 people were injured in this accident. The district police and administration, who reached the spot, took all the dead bodies into custody and admitted the injured for the treatment to the nearby Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital.

As per the latest reports, 10 people have died on the spot. Many others are critical and the toll is expected to rise. A child was reported to have died just after reaching the hospital.

Rakshak Vyas, a resident of Bharatpur, who was traveling on the bus, said that almost all the passengers were sleeping on the bus when a dumper suddenly hit at one side of the bus. All passengers sitting on that side died on the spot.

At the moment, the administration is trying to help all the injured and contact the relatives of the deceased. Rajasthan education minister Vasudev Devnani and district collector Aarti Dogra were seen at the hospital, according to News18.
