Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana’ Creates History: Becomes Spotify’s Most-Streamed Song Ever

Camila Cabello is the latest Latina female artist to break into the record books of music history. The Cuban-American singer’s insanely catchy song “Havana” is Spotify’s most-streamed song ever by a solo female artist.

According to billboard, with more than 888 million streams, “Havana” has broken the previous record held by Sia with “Cheap Thrills”. Cabello is also the first solo Latina female artist to hold the title.

In January on the Billboard charts, her album became the first debut by a woman to hit No. 1 on Billboard’s 200 albums chart in three years. It was Camila’s first No. 1 on the chart.

Additionally, “Havana” was No. 1 for seven weeks on the Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart, which was the longest run for a solo female artist in a lead role since by Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” in 2013.

With the chart-topping success of her self-titled debut album, Cabello has also crossed over into the modeling world as the face of a recent Guess campaign.
